Commercial and Industrial Upholstery

Commercial seating wears differently from a car seat. It gets sat in by hundreds of people, cleaned hard, and is expected to look the same next year. We use contract-grade fabrics and vinyls with the wear and flammability ratings commercial spaces require, and schedule the work around your business so the space can stay open.

We are currently upholstering 16 lobby chairs for Michigan Central Station in Detroit.

We do not take household furniture or patio cushions.

A cover built to fit the cart or machine it protects stays put and holds up better than a generic one. Covers are patterned, cut, and sewn here on industrial machines, and patterns are kept for repeat orders.

Fleet seats are regular work here. A fleet account lets a batch of identical seats come through the shop on a set schedule, in the same heavy-duty vinyl or ballistic cloth across every vehicle, so a seat done next year matches the ones done this year.

Seats and side panels come to the shop out of the aircraft, removed by your mechanic, who reinstalls them and signs off the work. Pilot and passenger seats get new foam where the old has broken down and are recovered in leather, vinyl, or fabric, with side panels and carpet matched to the seats.

Aircraft interiors are recovered in materials that meet the flammability requirements for aircraft cabins. Send photos of the cabin with the aircraft make and model to get started.

Everything happens in house. When a frame needs metalwork, the machine shop handles it here instead of the job going out. The shop has served corporate accounts alongside the public for more than four decades, including new-car sublet warranty work for dealerships.
